These images are samples or "moments" of several design projects and art pieces. Through the manipulation of space, functional and inspired interiors are created for clients who are passionate about unique, liveable, modern design. The interiors are frequently designed alongside existing architecture (and their architectural details), which serve as a metaphor for the evolution of time and space, for life lived and to be lived. Working with new and existing design also addresses issues of sustainability and longevity and incites a potentially complex and dynamic design resolution. Each project is an exploration of ideas, materials, art and objects within the boundaries of relational space; a distillation of the client's needs, desires and rituals through the creative collaboration of designer and client.
The scope of work includes the following: concept development, space planning, design resolution, co-ordinating/overseeing trades, materials/furniture sourcing, purchase ordering. I also partner with architects and contractors, for additions and new construction.
